Tatum Turetzky, PA-C

Tatum Turetzky, PA-C (she/her), is a certified physician assistant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She earned her physician assistant degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences after completing undergraduate studies in medical anthropology. Prior to her clinical training, Tatum worked with several nonprofit organizations in the reproductive justice space, an experience that informs the holistic and compassionate approach she brings to patient care.

Originally from Northern California, Tatum relocated to Washington, D.C. for her medical training and is proud to serve the community she now calls home as a member of the GW Medicine OB-GYN team. She recognizes that OB-GYN visits often coincide with important life transitions — such as adolescence, pregnancy, menopause, and other stages across the lifespan — and values the opportunity to support patients during these moments.

Tatum is committed to providing trauma-informed, patient-centered care and prioritizes building meaningful, trusting relationships with her patients. She strives to empower individuals to take an active role in their health and well-being.

Outside of the clinic, Tatum enjoys reading fiction at local coffee shops, walking or biking in Rock Creek Park, and cooking for her chosen family in Washington, D.C.
