About Nadine El Asmar

Dr. Nadine El Asmar a completed her medical school at the American University of Beirut in Beirut, Lebanon. She then moved to the United States in 2011 for Internal Medicine residency at University Hospitals Case Western Medical Center. She moved on to complete her Endocrinology fellowship at the same institution and graduated in 2016. During her time in Cleveland, she participated in research work in pituitary disorders, Cushing’s syndrome and the physiology of the HPA axis. She served as assistant professor in University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center between the years 2016 and 2021. At the time, in addition to clinical duties, she was involved in fellow and trainee education in the Division of Endocrinology and the Department of Medicine. In 2021, she moved to Washington DC where she assumed the position of associate program director of the Endocrinology Fellowship program and one year later became the Program Director of the Endocrinology Fellowship. She currently hold the title of Assistant Professor of Endocrinology at the George Washington University. She is heavily involved in medical education. Her endocrinology interests include but are not limited to, pituitary and adrenal disorders, diabetes technology, and thyroid disorders.
