Dr. Keith Wroblewski is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a Professor of Ophthalmology. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Wroblewski received his undergraduate degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, and then served four years as an Infantry Officer with the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson, Colorado. He later earned a medical degree from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, PA, ophthalmic surgery residency from Madigan Army Medical Center in Washington State and fellowships in Ocular Inflammation and Uveitis at the National Eye Institute in Bethesda and Ocular Pathology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology.Dr. Wroblewski, formerly the Chairman of Ophthalmology at the Walter Reed Army/ National Military Medical Centers and the Chief of Surgery at Fort Meade, Maryland has served in Korea, Bosnia, Germany, Iraq, Colorado and Washington State. He has held multiple clinical and leadership positions throughout his career, received the prestigious Saint Lucia Medal from the Society of Military Ophthalmology and has served on humanitarian missions in Kenya, Mauritania, El Salvador (twice), Honduras, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, and Guatemala.
