Kathryn Abell, DO

Kathryn Abell, DO is a board-certified psychiatrist who specializes in the psychiatric treatment of women. She has particular expertise in the evaluation and treatment of mood disorders in relation to the reproductive cycle with a focus on the peripartum and postpartum periods. Dr. Abell completed her fellowship training in Women’s and Perinatal Mental Health at Northwestern Medicine. She completed her psychiatry residency training at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Washington, DC, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Abell is a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine.
