Bridgette Thompson, CNM, MSN

Bridgette “Bee” Thompson is a Certified Nurse Midwife with The GW Medical Faculty Associates and Clinical Instructor at the GW School of Medicine & Health Sciences. Her journey into midwifery began at GW Hospital, where she first served as a labor and delivery nurse. Over the course of her career, she has supported birthing people and families in diverse settings—from home births and developing countries to large urban hospitals. These experiences have deepened her passion for helping individuals and families create meaningful, personalized birth experiences.

Thompson is especially committed to reducing health disparities and advancing autonomous, patient-centered care in the D.C. community. She is honored to continue the long-standing mission of GW Midwives and is proud to call herself part of this tradition.
